USB's don't work

I have a G1 Sniper Z87 motherboard and the USB's don't work. I have six 3.0 USB's from my case and when I plug in an external 3.0 Hard Drive it makes the noise that the computer knows it's there and the same with the 2.0 flash card. I loaded the express load of drivers for the motherboard and the 3.0 USB cable is plug in so I think I'm missing drivers and I'm not sure but they must be on the motherboard DVD but I'm not sure where?

It is always worth going to your motherboards support site to check for the latest drivers / firmware.
That is the first thing I do when I get a new machine, make sure everything is up-to-date.
