After doing a manual install of some updatesI still get into a cycle of the computer failing on reboot when it tries configuring the updates. It then reverts changes and I endup with the same updates needing to be installed. This has been going on for a week. I have googled and searched MS site and cant find a solution. Please help m. I am going nuts.

The latest 4 or 5 updates have been causing issues for A LOT of users, myself included.
IF those last updates still are causing you issues then only choose ONE update at a time and continue on with the rest. You'll have to restart your computer on I believe two of the updates.
Try that and see how it works out for you.
