SOLVED Unable to install VB6 in Windows7 - Home Basic/32-bit

Hi

I'm unable to install Visual Basic 6.0 in my machine which is installed with Windows 7 Home Basic. Am just getting error related to compatible version when I tried to install, so can any expert from board help me in sorting out it.

If you have Visual Studio 6 to install it then try THIS.

26/Dec/2012: Steps you provided have resolved my issue after changing the compatibility version to "Windows XP Service Pack3". After changing the compatibility version, I’ve followed all the steps you shared which resulted in successful installation. Thanks a lot!
