Un-register Windows 7

I installed Windows 7 (OEM) and unintentionally registered it.
I want to install another OS on this machine. Can I un-register it before I re-format so that I can utilise my license?

I don't know what Microsoft will or will not allow to happen if you try to install it on another computer but I can tell you ...
Officially an OEM copy lives & dies with the machine it was installed on, there is no "unregister".
