I gotFresh Devices' FreshUI <frui.exe> and it seems to do the same - at
least it provided an option to get rid of thse big shortcut arrows on
desktop icons. I don't know where I got it - c|net? I'm just starting with
win7 (dual booting, XP & 7) and have not explored other things in frui.exe.

Yep, worked here too.. (under XP Pro) now I'm looking for the auto-logon
feature. Did you find that setting?

Once I saw the following below at the site,I would not touch this TweakUI program
with a 10 foot pole
