Touchpad is not working for HP laptop

My touchpad stop working after one of the win7 auto update. I uninstall, but now touchpad still not working. I tried to install driver synaptics driver again, but system does not allow me to install driver. I can not see tab on control panel/mouse. It gives me error first when I click mouse icon in control panel. that "Unable to connect Synaptics pointing driver"

When you have an issue like that do not uninstall, first try "rollback driver" from Device Manager. And if that doesn't work then do a "system restore" to the restore point created prior to the Windows Update; then manually run Windows Update and "hide update" for the driver that caused a problem.
