If you want to disable it completely, you can probably do this within the BIOS. The Lenovo I've used before would let you do that, so I assume it's the same :).

It's normally F1 or F2, but it should say somewhere on bootup :).

You've marked this as solved, so I guess it's working now anyway :D.
