Touch pad sticky

The touchpad on my Gateway Acer NV53 laptop doesn't respond immediately and at times appears to get stuck before it will move the cursor. I've disabled all the features such as coasting, pinching, etc. with no change. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried go to Control Panel, Mouse and then select the Synaptics tab to configure your TouchPad Control?

I was wondering... My Touchpad left-click doesn't work. Right Click does, but now I have to tap once one the touchpad to click.

Meh? It sometimes randomly works.
