"the publisher could not be verified" message

Every time i run a program from here:
C:\Users\me\Desktop\myPrograms
I get a security warning:
"the publisher could not be verified, are U sure u want to run this software"?
i am running ms security essentials.
how can i get around this, maybe a list somewhere, move the program to a diff Folder ?
