That bridge is way cool! Lovely city too. If I ever hit the "lottery" I want to go to Europe and travel for six months or more.

Ireland, England, Scotland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, France, and other countries I can't spell right now.

One more bridge. This is the Arrábida bridge! This bridge lets you look at the Douro river and on the other side you can see the Atlantic... It used to have four elevators (lifts), but they were abandoned.

Really enjoyed those pics - what a good idea for a thread :). I've never been to Porto before, but it looks really nice!

Nice pictures. :)

How many other landmarks are there, besides the four bridges?

I would upload pictures but I'm not real sure there is anything of interest in these parts. :(

The new bridge in the pictures sure reminds me of the Confederation Bridge we have here (only ours is wee bit longer, 12.9k or 8 miles).

Another video... the song is called "Porto Sentido", by Rui Veloso.
Not my kind of music, but it goes fine with the pictures...
