Sound problem in Compaq V3018TU

Hai,

I installed W7 in Compaq laptop Model V3018TU. Sound drivers are not installed properly. I am un able to hear any sound. I installed vista sound driver. Still it is not solved. In Windows XP sound works properly.

Any body can give the solution.

My sound device is - High Defenition Audio Device.

Did you use the latest drivers from this page (assuming 32bit Windows):

If they don't work then I think you'll need to wait until they release Windows 7 Compatible drivers. Might also be worth checking Windows Update to see if any have been released there.
