Please tell me the trick to search with in the files in a folder. Let say I have to search a phrase "computer log" among the office files of a particular folder. What is the trick?

It searches whatever is indexed so if you want it to search content make sure that is enabled for the folder.
Right-click on the folder & select Properties. On the General Tab select the ADVANCED button. Make sure "allow files in this folder to have contents indexed in addition to file properties"
