RC is an early version of windows 7. Its purpose is to make amendments to windows 7 before hand to PC makers. Finally, MS partners determine when to launch.
Download the RC - ISO file and burn it to a new blank DVD. It will then create a setup.exe file for installation of windows 7 RC. When you run the windows 7RC, it automatically send error messages to MS, if any.
New features of windows 7
In the control panel of windows 7RC, it lets you place check marks showing which MS applications to enable and turn off by leaving boxes blank such as IE8, WMP and search function.
