Program to auto-resume or sleep Windows 7

Is there a good program to auto-resume or sleep Windows 7? In other words,
set up times for backups and security scans where you can wake the computer
up...say at 4AM and put it back to sleep at 4:45AM. Easy Shutdown generally
works and is only $5...but it is BUGGY.

Any suggestions?

On XP I use an application called Auto PowerOn & Shutdown. It works
perfectly and with a wake-up action you can initialize any application. I am
very content with it.
According to the website it wil run on W7 as well. Site:
