In XP there used to be "My Network Places" which one used to get by
Clicking on the task bar and then do:

Properties >> Advanced Tab and then tick the correct box in there.

What is it called in Windows 7 and how do you get it?

Thanks.

Right-click the Start Orb, select Properties. On the Start Menu tab, press
the Customize button. Scroll down until you see a checkbox for Network.
Check the box and OK out. Click the Start Orb again, and you should now see
Network on the right side of your Start Menu.
