My Internet Explorer and Firefox both are failing

[P C Challenged]

I have Chrome on my computer and is works well. I also have Internet Explorer and Firefox. As of a few days ago both Internet Explorer and Firefox don't work. They come up with blank screens but don't respond to searches. This is on Windows 7. (By the way, I have run Malwarebytes (the paid version) and CCleaner). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
