My CSV file converts to VCF, but contacts don’t appear on Android. Why?

This usually happens because the VCF file isn’t fully compatible with Android’s contact format. Even if the CSV converts to VCF, issues like wrong vCard version, missing name fields, or incorrect phone number mapping can stop contacts from showing up. I’ve seen Android ignore files that don’t follow its expected structure. To fix this, make sure the VCF is created in an Android-supported vCard version and that names and numbers are mapped correctly. You can prevent this by using a reliable CSV to VCF conversion tool, such as Softaken CSV to VCF Converter, which helps ensure contacts appear properly on Android.
