Hi! Could you solve it?
I have a laptop but, reading from your message seems yours is a desktop, so the option f7 or fn+f7 option might or might not serve up. I'm not an advanced user, but when this doesn't work I just use the keyboard command: windows+ctrl+shift+b . It will reload the graphic drivers, refreshing the screen. You will see it goes to black for a second, reloads, and makes a 'beep!'. You won't loose any open program or file, it's just the equivalent to your computer making a strong blink. It should get the mouse working again.

If you found another way to solve it, we'd love to listen!
