modify default directory for new install ?

hi,

i want ask,
how to modify the default directory when install program
usually c:\program files\...

example :
when click setup, the default directory direct to d:\ programs
so i don't need click browse again,

maybe change regedit ?

I've not tried this myself, so I would advise caution (messing with regedit can really mess things up if it goes wrong). If you browse to the following location, there are lots of values for default locations (i.e Program Files, Program Files x64, Common Files). I assume that changing this will swap your default install location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
