Missing Install CD

I had to replace a dead hard drive, and now find out that I'm missing 1 of 3 backup CD's. How can I get Windows 7 reinstalled?
Can I use another computer with Windows 7 and make a copy from it and install it on the other computer?

If you still have an activation key.

Download an ISO image of the edition you were using and burn the image to disk (not the ISO the content of the ISO). Use the Windows install disk and activation key to get yourself back on track.

Downloaded the ISO and the computer will not boot from the cd. And I have even changed the boot order to boot from cd first, but from hard driv or cd it will not open.

What do you see when you look at the contents of the DVD?
Is it a single ISO file or multiple folder/files?

If you didn't use an ISO burning utility, the files within the ISO image file was not written to disk correctly.

Here are a few utilities that should open an ISO and burn the contents of the image to disk:

• CDBurnerXP
• ImgBurn Home

Try burning the DVD at lower speeds.
The iso is for a DVD not for a CD
