Internet Explorer Problem

This is not the Internet Explorer Newsgroup but that group is inundated with
SPAM. My friend has a problem with IE 10 in that he can't open additional
browser windows. When he goes to a new site the current window closes. Any
ideas?

Not an excuse to post off-topic in the wrong newsgroup. Learn to
define kill filters if your eyes can't resist being drawn to the noise
posts.
X-Newsreader: JetBrains Omea Reader
You won't find a newsgroup that addresses that newsreader to get help
from a community of peers on how to configure filters within it.
You'll have to rely on help, self-help, and the program author to
figure out how to define noise filters for that newsreader.

Try changes the options for "Tabs"; it's on the "general" tab of
"internet options".

Thanks for that info, Bobby. I am copying it to my friend with the problem.

Also try resetting IE.

internet options > advanced > reset IE

That "reset" fixed the problem. He says his IE hasn't worked this well and
fast in a long time. Thanks, gufus!
