Ink Monitor shows all ink empy

Hi
Since I installed Windows 7 , My Epson Stylus photo R220 shows all ink cartridges empty.
They are completely new cartridges. Also if I boot in to a different OS ( Linux ) It shows the cartridges are full! Is there a known problem with Epson ink monitors an Win 7 ?

See if there are any updates published on the Epson website, what model is your printer I will search for you, if you wish
