IE not responding

IE not responding.
the other browsers such as mozilla,safari going well.
i've 64- bit system.
i can't see from where to uninstall it and then reinstall.

You can't really uninstall Internet Explorer 8, you can remove the shortcuts from the Start Menu and Desktop and Taskbar though. It still resides on the system because it it used for Windows Update, although Windows Update doesn't look like a browser.

Which IE8 are you using the regular 32 bit version or the 64 bit version?

You can remove IE8; WindowsUpdate doesn't use it anymore as of Win7.

Goto "Uninstall a program" then look to the left for "Turn Windows features on or off". You will see "Internet Explorer 8" in the list where you can remove the check mark to remove from the system.
