HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m printer cannot scan wirelessly

Hi

Although I have configured my B209a-m printer to print wirelessly with no problem, I am unable to scan wirelessly.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue? How is it resolved?

I am using the 64-bit version of Windows 7

Scan drivers are usually different than print drivers so it may be that you just don't have scan drivers. It appears this product is no longer being supported and the 64-bit drivers available say they provide basic print functionality but I see no mention of scanning.

Anything else on this? I am having the same problem with my printer. Printing works fine - even on my iphone. Scanning does not seem to be an option anymore...

Under utilities in the HP driver link I included above then is an HP Scan Diagnostic Utility ► 2011-07-22 , Version:4.2.0.005, 2.23M

May be worth trying to see if it can help.
