I have an old OST file that contains some important contact information, and I need to extract those contacts into VCF (vCard) format so I can import them into my phone. Unfortunately, I am not sure how to do this manually, and I have not found a reliable method yet. Can anyone recommend a trustworthy OST to VCF converter software that works?

If you are looking to convert OST contacts to VCF format, it is not as straightforward as just opening the file because OST files are tied to Outlook and can be a bit tricky to handle. I discovered that the quickest method to do it is via an application called DataVare OST to VCF Converter. This software features multiple functionalities that are simple to handle as well as makes the conversion process easier. You can use this software on all Windows platform because it is a Windows based software solution for you. It provides a preview of Outlook OST files before completing the conversion process. This utility supports all MS Outlook as well as vCard versions, so there is no chance that you face the compatibility issues while working with this software. You can give this software a try.

Hope this helps.

I had the similar problem not so long ago when I wanted to change OST contacts to VCF format but did not want to chance messing up the file manually. After trying a few options, I found an easy fix with a utility called OST to VCF Converter. It worked well for me. It took the contacts from my OST file and saved them as vCard files that I could use on my phone and email applications. The best part is it did not require Outlook or anything complicated. I would recommend to certainly give this one a go.
