To import contacts into Google Contacts, iCloud, or cellphones, you need to change CSV files into vCard (VCF) format. You can do this by-

Using Google Contacts manually-
  • Get your CSV file ready- Make sure it has the right headers, such Name, Email, Phone, etc.
  • Import to Google Contacts-
  • Open Google Contacts.
  • Click "Import" and then choose your CSV file.
  • Export as vCard-
  • Choose all of your contacts after importing.
  • Choose the vCard (VCF) format and click Export.
Using an application like Softaken CSV to VCF Converter-
  • For converting a lot of files at once or for additional options-
  • Download and run the CSV to vCard Converter application.
  • Upload your CSV file and match the columns to the vCard fields, such as Name, Phone, Email, and so on.
  • Pick the folder where you want the output to go and click Convert.
You can use the VCF files that the utility makes on any device.

Why do you need a converter tool?

Compared to doing it by hand, it's faster, allows for batch processing, and makes less mistakes. Great for managing big lists of contacts quickly.
