If you’re trying to open your contacts in Excel, the issue lies in the VCF format. This is because the Android phone exports contacts in a vCard file. Microsoft Excel does not support the vCard file. Therefore, in my opinion, you need to convert the VCF file to CSV.
What you can do:
First of all, you need to open your contacts app on your Android phone. Then you need to go to settings and use the export contacts option. Your phone will export a file named .vcf containing all your contacts. You need to transfer the file to your computer.
When I was trying to do this, I used WholeClear VCF to CSV Converter. I simply imported the VCF file to the converter and selected CSV as the output file. The conversion was done within a matter of seconds. All my details, such as name, phone number, and email, were correctly arranged.
