Google talk issue

Hii..i have installed windows 7 on my hp laptop. everything is great with os but gtalk is not able to connect. iam using hproxy for my net connection. even if i provide it with my username and password.

cam anybody help me with this??

Are you using any Firewall software? Check that the apps are on the allowed list first of all (perhaps disable all firewalls for a moment, just to see if GTalk works).

hiiii..thanks for the reply..finally i had my gtalk working through pidgin messenger!!
