I have four hard disks in my Win7Pro machine (Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3
mobo).

The sequence in which they are attached to four internal SATA ports is

SATA1: A
SATA2: B
SATA3: C
(SATA4 is an external eSATA port)
SATA5: D

When I press F8 during POST to select from which drive to boot or in
Device Manager, the sequence is:

D
C
B
A

In Partition Wizard the sequence is:

A
C
D
B

Why?

Perce

C

Why?
Compare Disk Management and BIOS Boot Sequence and all will become clear.
