I am unable to download the 64 bit compatible iTunes 10. This is a new download not an upgrade to a new compute. It starts to download and freezes early in the process. No error messages. I've tried turning off all firewalls and adding apple.com to approved sites. Apple support spent an hour but eventually gave up and suggested it was a Windows 7 issue. Can anyone help or do I sell my iPod?

I've not heard of any particular problems with W7 and I-tunes.
Have you tried a different site? http://www.filehippo.com/download_itunes/
or the 32bit version?

Can you download files from other sites w/o any problems?
Are you downloading with a browser or software they provide? What browser and version and 32-bit or 64-bit? What add-ons are installed in your browser; any ad blocking software?
Do you use a product called PeerBlock or any other program that limits what IPs can connect to your computer? What anti-virus software?
