DirectX problem installation

I try to install directX, all kind, but when i did it there is a problem the installation fail and appear a message:
'An internal system error occoured.
Please reffer to DXerror.log and DirectX.log in your windows folder to determinate the problem'
but in the windows folder there isnt any file of that
i cant install any version of direct x . please help me. thanks

You should install DirectX via Windows Update unless you need an older version (See HERE).

If you WERE trying to install it via Windows Update then, run the Microsoft Fix-it for Windows Update to repair your update directory and try again.
