SOLVED Dial-up speed down from 48 to 32kbps after Update.

Restored to before some updates and speed back to 48. Do I just have to give up on updates, or is there a way to fix them?

most likely is a driver update, simply find the bad driver in windows updates (assuming you can figure out which one) and right-click on it in the list and choose "hide update", you should then be able to install the other updates

Solved. Couldn't make sense of updates.
Reinstallation of Bitdefender caused problem again.
