SOLVED Devices & Drives missing in My Computer menu

Win 7 Home Prem 64 bit.

Not sure when this started - so not sure about using System Restore.
When I open My Copmputer, the Hard drives and the D Drive (DVD RW) but not my USB slots or othr Removable Storage devices.

How do I get those back?

Fixed -

Not sure which did the trick-
I went to Device Mgr and under the USB Controller tree chose the first USB Hub.
Then Uninstall.

Then complete shut down.
Pulled the plug from the back of the tower, then
turned the PC on.
