SOLVED Desktop Icon in taskbar

In XP there was an icon in my taskbar that let me see the desktop. In Win 7, I have none... I have to use the old CTRL + D to get to the desktop.

Is there a way to get this icon on Windows 7 taskbar?

If you right clcik the taskbar, you can select "show the desktop". Is this what you need?
If, for example, you are on the internet looking at this page, it will minimise this page and you have the full desktop display. By clicking the IE icon in the taskbar, you return to this page.

Also, the easiest way, I think, is to just click on the little rectangle totaly to the right of the taskbar:

It's that little thing, next to the time and date.

You mean to the right of the taskbar.
Right left, I hate having to remind myself which side is what.
