Cursor size and large font

Hi

I use Extra large font (144 PixPerInch) and I have done
that forever and it is the look I like, unfortunately
Windows7 have desided that this should effect the cursor
as well, but I dont want that.

I have my own set cursor and they dont look very nice when
scaled 150%, I really dont want to spend time making a new
set of cursors or for that matter see them larger then they
already are.

Is there any way that I can avoid this cursor size increase ?

Thanks in advance
Best regards

Hi,

With your font size already set, go to...

Start > Control Panel > Mouse

.... open the Pointers tab and select your preferred pointer set from the
drop down menu and uncheck the "Allow themes to change pointers" checkbox,
then click OK.

That should do it.

No, I'm sorry but it does not effect the size of the cursor
actually win7 doen't change the cursor it just scale/resize
it up to the 150%.
Under Custom font I have checked use XP style which in Vista
makes windows stop resizing all icons and images, but in win7
it have no effect on the Cursor.

Thanks for trying though.

Sounds like you need to find a small cursor so that when it gets scaled up
it's the right size.
