connection manager problem

Hi. I have a bigpond usb braodband. its worked fine and have had it for years. Yesterday got home and it would not boot up.
When trying to open the program to connect the bigpond, a message comes up.

Connection manager problem

Then shuts the program down. I have had a looks through some settings but cant seem to find anything that helps. Cant really find anything thats just a connection manager.

No setting have been changed in the internet options. So Im out of ideas.

I am using the usb stick in my laptop now so I know that is still working.

I know nothing about Bigpond, but it seems several broadband suppliers have the "Connection Manager"
