Chromecast?

Anyone using one of these things yet?
http://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/devices/chromecast/#netflix
Can it display everything that's on a PC or tablet on a big screen TV or
only what Google wants you to see?
I currently have an older XP box connected to TV and wondering if this could
be a convenient alternative.
Not yet available here in Ireland but hopefully soon.

It's a complete computer in there. And a wonder it
doesn't overheat.

Runs Android. Decodes with GPU. So formats
are whatever the GPU can accelerate. The
single core processor wouldn't be enough to
do software decoding.

So in some ways, you can think of it as a Raspberry PI.
But with a low end Wifi on it. Maybe that's where their
pricing strategy came from (compete with PI).

Supported media types isn't wide enough. That's where
Google can help (by ensuring the services they provide,
have the right format for that thing). It doesn't have
as good decoding as UVD or PureVideo.
