I have downloaded windows from source other than microsoft.

The uploader may have tampered the setup and may have included a virus in setup. Tell me how to check whether the setup is exactly same as given by microsoft.

I would strongly advise you to check the download with a "MD5 checksum Checker".

I'm not sure which MD5 code you need to check with. If you would tell which Windows 7 Build you have. Someone can help you find the MD5 Code for your download.
