Cant access files on a Iomega zip 100 W7

I just installed W7 on my tower. I also installed an old Iomega zip100 drive. I have 2 discs with some files that I need to access. I can see the drive but it will not see the discs. It keeps telling me to insert a disc when ther is one already in there.
Can anybody help PLEASE !!!!!!!

Damaged disk or damaged drive
reinstall the drivers for the zip drive
