Cannot install

A Security update does not install. When I exit it tells not to turn power off and shows installing 1 of 1, But it never does, I ahve to shut off power to exit. When I turn on power again and try to exit again, the same page appears showing installing 1 of 1. There is no error message. This keep repeating.
HP notebook win7 How do I install and get rid of this page
