Can Windows 7 "Search" find text within files the way XP did?
I just did it, and found the contents in a file I was searching for.

I made the change.
I saw no change in the "Search" box so I rebooted.
Still no clue as to, for example, find the word "blue" in *.doc.

Maybe this will help you. You can use Bing or Google to find more articles.
In my case, I configured Adv Search to look on the <C> in a certain
directory for what I was looking for.

I found the word "blue" in *.doc files this way:
find blue in *.doc
XP's search was far more useful.

You can look for some 3rd party search tools that may be to your liking.

You should get a Driod. I wanted a user manual that should come with the
phone, and they told me to go to the Internet where I found a PDF that I
downloaded to the Droid.
