I have the book "Windows 7 Inside Out" and found no mention of this yet!
I made the change.
I saw no change in the "Search" box so I rebooted.
Still no clue as to, for example, find the word "blue" in *.doc.

I found the word "blue" in *.doc files this way:
find blue in *.doc
XP's search was far more useful.

In my case, I configured Adv Search to look on the <C> in a certain
directory for what I was looking for.

Thank you for your help.
It's a shame that this exists with no or little Microsoft documentation.
