HI,
With my Old Windows XP,(32) I could turn off the screensaver,or desktop to save resources while working in Pinnacle STUDIO 14HD. Now that I have Windows 7,(64) and while I'm MAKING A MOVIE, I have to jiggle the mouse around now and then so THE WINDOWS LOG-ON screen won't show up, which sometimes it may or may not interfere with the burn process.

So I guess my question would be this, Is there anything on the WIN7 desktop to turn off so the LOG ON screen does not appear while the video software is burning a DVD?

You must change your power saving settings. Start/Control Panel/Power Options. Change the sleep settings to a longer time or never. Take a look at your advanced settings as well.

Yodap is correct, also check your monitor's time-out settings too. Those are in the "Power Options" section of the Control Panel.
