So, I'm sure no one here knows me, but I have an emergency.

My Hp laptop has been BSODing at random, and I can't figure out why.

Originally the error was "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION" but now it doesn't.

I'd like a response soon, because I have a little less than 90 days on the warrenty, and if it's a hardware problem, I'd like to know as fast as possible.

The Error I got was such. I'll try to do whatever I need to.

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 1e
BCP1: FFFFFFFFC0000005
BCP2: FFFFF80002AE5933

BCP4: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
OS Version: 6_1_7600
Service Pack: 0_0

C:\Windows\Minidump\082910-28251-01.dmp

Sorry about that. I'm not exactly the sharpest tool ever.

This post should contain the minidump. Please let me know if you need anything else.

Quite a few issues that need taking care of.

1)
Code:
Rt64win7 Rt64win7.sys Fri May 22 10:52:30 2009
Update your Realtek network driver. To find out which you have, type systeminfo in a command prompt then press enter. Then search the following link on the left side for the number. If you have anything with 8111 in it, then use the link directly, itself:

RTL8111

2) Visit HP.com for you model to download and install the latest keyboard driver to update this old one:
Code:
HpqKbFiltr HpqKbFiltr.sys Wed Apr 29 09:48:30 2009
http://www.hp.com/#Support

3) While there, download and install the latest modem driver too:

Code:
agrsm64 agrsm64.sys Mon Apr 06 17:31:06 2009
4) Install the latest video driver to update this older one:

Code:
atikmdag atikmdag.sys Wed Aug 05 00:14:11 2009
Drivers & Support | GAME.AMD.COM

5) Update your Promise controller drivers, which is very important:

Code:
SiSRaid2 SiSRaid2.sys Wed Sep 24 14:28:20 2008
sisraid4 sisraid4.sys Wed Oct 01 17:56:04 2008
stexstor stexstor.sys Tue Feb 17 18:03:36 2009
6) Update your QLogic Miniport drivers.

Code:
ql2300 ql2300.sys Thu Jan 22 18:05:06 2009
ql40xx ql40xx.sys Mon May 18 21:18:11 2009
7) Update your NVIDIA chipset drivers by downloading and installing the latest nForce install for your chipset:

NVIDIA

8) Update your IBM RAID driver because this is definitely too old:
Code:
 nfrd960 nfrd960.sys Tue Jun 06 17:11:48 2006
9) Update your LSI MegaRAID Software RAID Driver is these are tool old:

Code:
 MegaSR MegaSR.sys Mon May 18 21:25:54 2009
megasas megasas.sys Mon May 18 21:09:46 2009
lsi_fc lsi_fc.sys Tue Dec 09 17:46:09 2008
lsi_sas2 lsi_sas2.sys Mon May 18 20:31:48 2009
lsi_scsi lsi_scsi.sys Thu Apr 16 18:13:50 2009
10) Update your Intel drivers by letting the page at top scan, in blue:

Code:
iirsp iirsp.sys Tue Dec 13 16:47:54 2005
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx?iid=gg_support-EN_01+home_downloadctr

11) Update or uninstall this old Adapted RAID driver:

Code:
arcsas arcsas.sys Wed Jan 14 14:27:37 2009
-------

Here's the rest of what you need to update or uninstall. I don't feel like looking them up any longer. You'll probably be much better off with a clean Windows install since you have all these types of RAID drivers installed etc...Don't know what's going on or why that would be (someone made a mess of things lol), but it is very messy for sure with all these old antiquated, problem drivers.

Clean install recommended:

adp94xx adp94xx.sys Fri Dec 05 18:54:42 2008
adpahci adpahci.sys Tue May 01 13:30:09 2007
HpSAMD HpSAMD.sys Mon May 18 19:43:49 2009
arc arc.sys Thu May 24 17:27:55 2007
adpu320 adpu320.sys Tue Feb 27 19:04:15 2007

Unless your either take care of removing or updating everything, or do a clean Windows install with a format, the machine will continue to have issues indefinitely.

It may have been the guy that I bought it from, which is weird since no one described having these problems that I'm having.

Oh well, I'll try to solve these problems if I can and post back if anything happens.
