Hi, and thankyou for letting me join your Forums, I look forward to communicating with you all (first post :)).

I have an ASUS F3SV with an new install of windows 7 32 bit (dual boot with V Ultimate which vista has no conflicts on devices)
In windows 7 I have some driver issues for 2 Base System Devices,

Message: The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28),There is no driver selected for the device information set or element..
Hardware ID’s

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&SUBSYS_14E71043&REV_12

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0592&CC_088000

Can anyone please guide, the wizards and driver searches do not see to pick it up. Also there is few win7 drivers listed for the ASUS F3SV that I could find. I have removed the devices and restarted.

***Please see 2nd reply that fixed this problem. Thanks

You might try using the Vista 32 bit drivers from the ASUS website or go to each hardware and chipset makers website and download the respective Windows 7 drivers.

That looks like it could be a memory card reader device....That should do the trick :D
Thank you both, yes it did the trick very nicely.100 points to this forum!!!

For learning purposes, can you explain how you identifed the issue as a Ricoh Memory Card device.

Same problem

Hi,
I have the same problem having upgraded from Vista to Windows 7, but my machine was purchased from Novatech - have looked on their site, but cant seem to find the driver. Windows cannot find the drivers, but when I try to do it manually it sends me to the Levono Group Ltd for the driver - it goes through the process but then makes no difference - they still show as missing! Anyone got any ideas?
