SOLVED Asus EeePC 1225B problem installing Windows 7 Ultimate

Hey people I am having problems on Asus EeePC 1225B installing Windows 7 Ultimate. Says Cannot find device drivers after entering the setup, I even tried external dvd-rom says same thing on a flash drive

Windows comes with many device drivers but not all. The most common that would affect install are those that support SSDs or certain RAID settings for a hard drive. So you could try changing the RAID settings in your BIOS or you will need to load drivers. See Microsoft Community.

So what I did was plugin the usb stick into the usb port 2.0 and it worked. If you want to install windows 7 ultimate on usb 3.0 buy a usb 3.0 16 gb stick

USB 3.0 did not exist when W7 was released so that would also be another driver you wouldn't have on the install DVD.

But I'm glad you got it worked out.
