Another program is being installed when trying to install Microsoft Web Platform Inst

Please help.

I get prompted with "Another progam is being installed" when I try to install certain programs.

Microsoft Web Platform Installer 2.0 beta among others.

I have rebooted, and check processes but I can't figure this out.

You could try running system restore and roll back to before this problem happened (if it's a recent thing), or you could try running the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and see if it finds any incomplete installs:

that program looks great and all, but I can't install it, cause another installation is in progress. GRRR!
