If I have a driver that was WHQL signed for use with XP Pro, will that driver be accepted by 32-bit Windows 7 as a WHQL driver (that is; no pop-ups, warnings, etc.)

I don't know the answer to your question but I would suggest you check the date of the driver. Drivers signed prior to July 2009 should be avoided as they often cause BSODs in W7.

I would also encourage 64-bit rather than 32-bit unless your hardware cannot support it or your memory is under 2GB (3GB if you plan to run XP mode) or you have software that simply will not run in 64 and cannot be replaced.
