32-64bit questions

Thinking about purchasing W7 Ultimate OEM ... but some questions RE: choosing 32 or 64 bit.

Does a 32bit OEM disk come with the 64bit options (if we pay M$ more money for the key)?
Conversely, does 64bit DVD come with 32bit install option?
I don't NEED 64 bit but see 64bit versions are less expensive on ebay than 32 bit!

Thanks

I don't know about the expense and licensing aspects - all I can say is
that my new computer came with 64bit Windows 7 and it has been a pain in
the nether end trying to get my old peripherals to work with it because
of lack of 64bit drivers. You might want to have a look at what kit you
have and see if drivers are available for all of it before you buy
64bit. The advantages of 64 bit may or may not outweigh that for you,
of course.

I could be wrong, but if I'm not mistaken with OEM versions of Windows 7
you get either the 32 or the 64 bit version with no option to switch to
the other. Now with the retail or upgrade versions of Win 7 you do get
both 32 and 64 bit versions and the product key will only activate one
of the two versions.

When I pre ordered my version of Win7 last year, I recieved both the 32
and 64 bit versions, and installed the 64 bit one. I have had no
problems at all with drivers apart from one , which was my old Epson
scanner. I installed this on a second Pc with XP on and that was sorted ok.

Go for 64 bit. There are most of drivers for MOST important
application are available. The 64 bit OS is more stable,
even mother board and Hard DD work smother.
