Win7 not recognizing GeForce GT635 graphics card

Yeah, I had it set to look to the pci first on old OS, and just left it that way. I have since, (last night) set it back to look first to onboard, no change tho in device mgr "seeing" it. Memory (mine) not so good as I do remember I had a heck of a time installing it originally too, but cannot...

Win7 not recognizing GeForce GT635 graphics card

the setting in BIOS was for video chipset to look to pci or onboard, I have seen a number of posts in forums on this, tho from personal experience, can say that in my case it seemed to work either way as that is how it is currently set, so must be like the settings for hdds or rom, et al...

Win7 not recognizing GeForce GT635 graphics card

Well, don't even know that I would be able to load the drivers for a 64 bit driver either, and the nVidia driver updater is called GeForce Experience as noted in my OP and it too says it won't load as it sees no compatible equipment, and shuts down. Seems to be a very common complaint at...

I have set BIOS...

SOLVED lost some control panel feature access

yes, and I also tried a right click and some of the links allow another 'run as admin'option and some don't. doesn't help either way I also looked at adm tools/event viewer and saw there are a bunch of errors listed as service control manager, but have no idea where to find that.

SOLVED lost some control panel feature access

Thanks for responding. I did 2 different scans, both clear. Running in safe mode allows it to work properly, so I guess that points to the sys config? I set the config for diagnostic start, and the autoplay now works, but not taskbar or folder options.

SOLVED lost some control panel feature access

Newly installed win7 home premium, ran thru all its updates over last 3 days. I seem to have lost ability to access both the folder options and task bar and start menu as well as autoplay. Everything else is functional. When I click on any of those 3, I see the cursor rotate for a second or 2...
