You'll have to wait until the 6th or 7th of next month. Off hand, I don't know the numbers. Also, I'm now running Windows 8.1 Pro w/Media Center x64 and the device, also works in Windows 8 & 8.1. I've got a high-end netbook running 8.1 and use it on it, too. For...

Maybe, it's just in 8. I've got the lates Nvidia beta's, too. I heard through Guru3D that they had a new beta, but it wasn't for 8 or 8.1. It was 327.**. The latest for 8 & 8.1, is 326.80.

Nibs: It's mostlu under the hood changes. Windows Explorer is now called File Explorer (like in Windows 3.1). I bought Stardock's Start8 which put's the Start Menu back and it can be made to look like 7's or Metro like. It also has a option in it to boot directly to the desktop. It works as does...

Thanks Ian & yodap. I've been on the 8 forum since Home Preview. Just never spent that long in 8 back then because certain programs at the time wouldn't work in 8. They do now, though. PowerDVD 12 Ultra now works in 8, so no more bogus video card driver not updated/compatible warning's when...

I'm going to be leaving Windows 7 Forums, as I upgraded to Windows 8 Pro x64 this morning. P.S. For anyone thinking about upgrading to Windows 8. My upgrade went without a hitch. I let Windows 8 transfer everything. My games that are off of my ssd and on my mechanical hard drive with a...

SOLVED How to increase rear speaker's volume on 5.1 speakers ?

A few month's back I purchased a Logitech X-503 5.1 speker set. I just realized the 2 rear speaker's that plug into the subwoofer are quite a bit too low. My motherboard MSI 890FXA-GD70 uses Realtek HD audio (driver's are updated). How do I increase the rear speaker's volume. Do I do it in the...

9 Windows 7 features that have disappeared in Windows 8

That may be a small part of it, Clifford. However, I really beleive it's more on the side of atleast 75 - 85 % of the people that have tried 8 on anything non-touch capable have oretty much complained about Metro. Especially considering there's no start menu in the Desktop UI and also that alot...

9 Windows 7 features that have disappeared in Windows 8

I really, really love how MS is pullingfeatures out of 7 in the last year. First we'll state gadgets as a security risk, then we'll kill our site for getting them (after already dwindling said pages down to one page). Then we'll slowly take Internet Tv feature's out of WMC. Then as of the 20th...
